You know what you meant. They only saw what you did.
A simple monthly practice for senior leaders who want to know how they actually land, and change it, one behaviour at a time. Five short videos, six templates, about half a day a month.
The Problem
You know what you intended in that meeting. You know why you cut the discussion short, and what you meant by the message you sent on Friday evening.
The people around you have none of that. They only ever see what you did.
And almost nobody tells you the difference. Not because they are dishonest, but because it is awkward, and because nobody ever asked them to. The more senior you become, the truer that gets: the feedback quietly dries up exactly when the stakes go up.
So you end up working on the leader you believe you are, rather than the one your team actually experiences.
What this is
The Feedforward Loop is a simple monthly practice, not a course you watch and forget.
You ask three to five people who see you work two specific questions. You choose one behaviour to change. You tell those people what you chose and ask them to watch for it. You work on it for a month. Then you go back and ask what they noticed.
Then you do it again. The value is not in any single month. It is in becoming a leader who asks, regularly and out loud, what effect they are having, and who is visibly willing to change something as a result.
What you will be able to do
- Run the conversation without getting defensive, using a script you keep on your screen.
- Turn what you hear into one behaviour someone could actually watch you do differently.
- Practise it in the specific moments where it is at stake, instead of hoping to remember.
- Go back a month later and get a straight answer rather than reassurance.
- Handle the moment when someone tells you something you think is wrong.

Five videos, about 25 minutes in total. Six templates you fill in and keep. About half a day a month, most of it in conversations that are useful in their own right. Yours to keep, and to run for as long as you lead.
Who it is for, and who it is not
This is for you if:
- You lead a team and have done for at least a couple of years.
- You suspect you do not really know how you come across, and you would rather find out.
- You are willing to have a slightly uncomfortable conversation and thank the person for it.
This is not for you if:
- You want a questionnaire and a report. There is no instrument here, and nothing anonymous.
- You are not willing to hear something that stings and act on it.
- You are hoping to seem different without actually having the conversations.
Why me?
I am Susan Kuepfer. I coach senior leaders, and I am a certified Stakeholder Centered Coach. I have watched this practice do something that impresses me every time: [one specific, true example: a leader who heard something
hard, changed one small thing, and saw how differently their team responded within a month].
This course is the version I give my own coaching clients, laid out so that you can run it yourself.
